Bay Area traffic congestion presents an increasing need for well-planned, successful intermodal facilities. As one of the country's leading "mega-regions", the ability to transport cargo from ship to rail is paramount to the success of the Bay Area’s transportation system.
Over the past 20 years, O.C. Jones has fostered valuable relationships with ports and railroads on major intermodal projects including the Port of Oakland, Union Pacific Railroad, BNSF, and the Port of Richmond. In an effort to help the Bay Area remain a top regional intermodal hub, we continue to meet the unique challenges that arise on container yards, railroad switching yards, and maintenance projects.
